How an implant is made
An implant is an artificial tooth root in the jawbone; an abutment and the crown sit on it. The pictures show the steps schematically on a lower molar.

Examining teeth and gums, X-rays only when needed.
Professional teeth cleaning
Removes plaque and tartar that a toothbrush cannot reach.
Fillings
Removing caries and closing the cavity with tooth-coloured composite.
